The Lucy Top

I'm trying to take advantage of having my Kids Shop closed and get some clothes sewn for MY kids.  I'm finding it a little frustrating because I get so many interruptions but at least I'm still doing something creative!

The most recent thing I've made is this adorable Lucy Top  by Shwin Designs.  The pattern was easy but again took longer than I anticipated. However that's life with a newborn! Or maybe just life with four kids?

This is the first time I've put pockets on a shirt and I had no idea it was so easy!  I'm really hoping the same is true for zipper fly's on pants because I intend to attempt that later this week.

I love the sleeves on this top, they are totally feminine and very easy to put together.

It kind of scares me how good she is getting at modeling for me...

  4. So cute! Could a novice sewer do this? The pattern is sold out though. I sad! This is adorable!
