How was your long weekend? I had so many things I wanted to do this weekend and didn't really accomplish any of them but I had a great weekend anyway. Travis and I just finished up watching The Lord of The Rings all over again so we had quite a few nights of being glued to the TV which was really great. I can't quite figure out how those movies just get better every time I see them, but hey I'm not complaining! Now we'll spend the next 2 weeks watching all the appendices as well, which are usually just about as good as the actual movies themselves. Watching the appendices generally lead to reading the books again and with the amount of interruptions involved with trying to read a book I expect I'll have lots of reading material for the next oh 6 months or more.
Besides all that movie watching, we made it to the Calgary Highland Games on Saturday and Friday afternoon we made a trip out to the archery range as well. Lot's of family time which was really nice.
Daddy and Kaed were throwing a tennis ball in the air and shooting at it. Trav hit it a couple times and Kaed actually got close too!
Yesterday I finally managed to get out my sewing machine and I sewed up four new pairs of booties. I love the bright green ones and wish I had bought more of that fleece so hopefully they still have some next time I get back to the fabric store.

Did you get the Blu Ray ones? That sounds so fun. I need to watch all the appendices again too.

Love the new booties. I really like the style with buttons on them.
