Feeling Rough

I woke up sick this morning, had a rough morning with the boys followed by an afternoon of getting groceries then an ultrasound followed by cranky kids and a loud evening dealing with said cranky, whiny, noisy, fighting kids. I hope tomorrow is filled with moments more like this one.

Etsy Finds - Baby Edition

**Note: the giveaway is still open until baby is born! If you want to enter click here

This Lavender Bird Pinafore is AMAZING. Seriously, the color, the style the little embroidered bird, I love every single part of it. You can find it at My Happy Home

If I end up having a baby girl this time, I'm buying these shoes. Seriously how adorable are they? You can find them at Little Jumping Beans along with tons of other amazing shoes.

And just to add something that isn't specifically girly this onsie is fantastic. I'm a big Counting Crows fan (mostly their older stuff) so of course I love it but it's just so clever too. You can find it at Bubbletees

Once again all these items are from shops in the Alberta Street Team on Etsy as that seems to be one of the only places I look anymore... I love buying local!

Baby Guess Giveaway!!

As most of you know I'm due with baby number three this coming Friday! I have to admit I hope it comes before then but really whenever baby is ready is when baby is going to come. So to keep things exciting while waiting I'm doing a little Baby Guess Giveaway. Here's how it works...

Comment on this post with your guess as to what date and what time baby will be born as well as if you think baby is going to be a girl or a boy!! The person who guesses the correct gender and is the closest to when baby is actually born wins!

Here's what you'll win!

This clutch is currently in my shop so if you love it and don't win it I am more than happy to make up a custom order for you!
*This giveaway is open only to people living in Canada and the US, sorry!
**Make sure when you enter that you leave some way of me being able to contact you.

Itching to Get Out

Some of you know that besides sewing, crafting, and cooking my other big hobby is archery. I started about 11 years ago now and since we got married Travis has really gotten into it too. Way more than me in fact and beyond just shooting he loves to make traditional bows. We have a membership at a local outdoor range and it has now been months since we've been out there. Needless to say I'm really starting to feel the urge to get out there and shoot but it's a little difficult with a 9 month preggo belly so for now I'll settle with reliving some past moments out at the range.

I've been trying to pass the time lately, while waiting for baby to arrive so I pulled out the sewing machine again and made some more bags. Just some zipper pouches for the shop and then a custom order diaper bag. I love love love the diaper bag fabric and am seriously considering making something for myself with it. Because I really need more bags...

Today is only one week away from my due date! I'm seriously hoping I don't make it that long but if I do then I'll be seriously hoping I don't go so overdue that they want to induce me again!
I'm also working on a new template and layout for the blog so if things get a bit messed up I apologize.
I'm not sure if I'll be back to posting regulary again but today I wanted to share so here I am.

Takin a Break

It's been a while and I apologize. Our computer was busted for a while and now I just need a break. It's likely I won't be back till after baby is born, but who knows maybe I'll throw a post in sometime before then.

What I've Been Up To

I wish I could say I've been really crafty and productive lately but that would definitely be a lie. All I have been doing lately is laundry. Okay not only laundry but it certainly feels that way. I've been getting all the baby clothes, blankets, and diapers washed up and ready for the new baby and the end is finally in sight. The hardest part I think is keeping up with the regular amount of laundry while doing the new stuff. I am trying really hard to not think about the fact that soon this amount of the laundry will be the norm!!

I've also been cooking up a lot of freezer meals and muffins and stuff so I don't have to worry too much about food. My mom is also here helping me out right now so that's amazing! She made up a huge batch of soup for the freezer yesterday and it's my favorite so I'm extra happy about that.

The last thing I've been doing is drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea. I'm ready to have this baby.

The Office

Some of you know how much of a fan of The Office I am, some of you maybe not. Just in case you didn't know, here are just a few of the onsies I want to buy for the new baby.

I love the logo onsie because it just screams "The Office".

Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica Onsie by Babywood
This one is so totally awesome because it's all about the Jim and Dwight dynamic, which is my favorite part of the show after Jim and Pam. I also love this one because you have to be an Office fan to know what it's all about.

I also love this one because again you have to be a fan of The Office to know what's going on.

I love this one because I love Andy. Not as much as I love Jim but pretty close.

diaper bags galore!

I made another diaper bag, this one for my aunt. I think I'm done with these for a little while. It's a pretty fun project but very time consuming and I'm starting to run out of time! I love the fabric on this one though and I think I might have to pick some more up next time I'm at the fabric store.

more curtains

I forgot to take a before picture, but pretend there are no curtains here. This is in our main floor bathroom, the bathroom that guests use when they are here. I've always needed to use the shelves for storage because we just need the room but it's never looked too pretty. There's dog food up there, laundry soap, toilet paper, really everything you don't really feel like looking at. I finally got around to making more curtains to cover up the shelves. Now I can store whatever I want there and not have to worry about how it looks. Unless of course someone peeks but hey that's their fault then right? Here's how it looks now!

this is up behind and above the toilet in case you were wondering.
