I've been meaning to share this advent calendar for a while but kept forgetting to take a decent picture of it. Not that I got a decent picture of it now but still. My mom made this for me, it's a copy of the same one we had growing up and I love it.
Every pocket has a little felt cutout of something and along with the calendar is a devotional book. Each cutout coincides with the story that day and in the 25 days you go through all the major stories in the Bible. I love it because the kids think it's so fun to put the cutouts up and that way they get excited about something that isn't candy.

Oooh. I didn't get the part about putting up felt cutouts until I saw the closeup. Cool.
